Operations & Strategy Coordinator

4700 E 61st St, SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, 57108, US

Sioux Falls, South Dakota  |  Full-Time  |  Reports to COO

────────────────────────────────────────

YOU

────────────────────────────────────────

You are the person who always has the list.

Not because someone asked you to — because you can't function without knowing what's happening, who owns it, and what's due next. You take notes in meetings that other people actually want to read. You follow up before anyone has to ask. You notice when something is about to fall through the cracks, and you quietly make sure it doesn't.

You're not looking for a role where you call the shots. You want to be close to the action — learning how decisions get made, how a growing company operates, and how to make complex things run smoothly. You find genuine satisfaction in bringing order to chaos and in being the person leadership can count on.

You communicate clearly in writing. You handle sensitive information like an adult. And you'd rather ask a clarifying question upfront than deliver the wrong thing on time.

If that's how you're wired — this role was built for you.

────────────────────────────────────────

THE ROLE

────────────────────────────────────────

The Operations & Strategy Coordinator supports the COO directly, helping translate priorities into organized execution plans and making sure nothing that's supposed to happen — doesn't.

This is not a calendar-management role. You'll be tracking live initiatives, preparing briefing materials, coordinating across departments, capturing decisions, and surfacing risks before they become problems. You will be inside the work of a scaling company every day.

You won't be making strategic decisions — but you'll be close enough to understand how they're made. For the right person, this is one of the best entry points into operations and general management you'll find.

────────────────────────────────────────

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

────────────────────────────────────────

↳  Tracking. Maintain a clear, current picture of every active initiative — owners, milestones, status, and what's at risk.

↳  Meetings. Prepare agendas, capture decisions and action items, and make sure follow-up happens.

↳  Coordination. Connect the dots across departments on COO-sponsored work. Surface gaps. Follow up on commitments.

↳  Reporting. Turn raw information into clean, organized updates the COO can act on.

↳  Process support. Help document and roll out operational improvements. Track adoption. Bring ideas forward.

────────────────────────────────────────

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

────────────────────────────────────────

You are relentlessly organized. People notice it. They rely on it.

You write well. Clean notes, clear emails, organized summaries — without a lot of direction.

You follow through. What you say you'll do, you do. And if something's going sideways, you say so early.

You're curious about how businesses work. You pay attention to the why, not just the what.

You handle confidential information with maturity and discretion.

You're calm when things shift. Priorities change fast here — that energizes you, it doesn't derail you.

You have low ego and high standards. You do great work because you care about it, not because you need the credit.

────────────────────────────────────────

QUALIFICATIONS

────────────────────────────────────────

•  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

•  1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, executive support, or a related field

•  Strong written communication skills — we will ask for a writing sample

•  Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); familiarity with project tracking tools (Asana, Monday, Notion, or similar) a plus

•  Property management experience not required — curiosity about the industry is

────────────────────────────────────────

This is a place where the work is visible, the feedback is direct, and your contribution matters from day one. If you want to learn how a real company operates from the inside — and grow quickly because of it — we'd like to meet you.
