We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Overview:

As a Leasing Consultant at Real Property Management Express, you will play a crucial role in helping us maintain and grow our property portfolio. You will be responsible for leasing residential properties ensuring that vacancies are filled promptly with high-quality tenants. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leasing Activities: Market available properties to attract prospective tenants, conduct property tours, and screen tenant applications.
  • Tenant Screening: Evaluate tenant applications, perform background checks, and verify references to ensure the selection of reliable and responsible tenants.
  • Lease Preparation: Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, files, and reports related to leasing activities.
  • Solicit Feedback and Make Recommendations - As the primary point of contact for the applicants, you will get the direct feedback on rent pricing, features, and amenities. You will bring your observations back to help influence listed rent prices. 
  • Nurture Leads - As the first point of contact for incoming applicants, you will reach out to leads to arrange showings and follow up after the showings are complete. The goal is a successfully signed lease and a resident who rents from us again and again. 

Job Requirements for the Leasing Consultant Position 

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position. 

  • You must have a working knowledge of various computer softwares. 
  • You should have prior experience in a customer-facing sales or customer service role. 
  • You must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of local property laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in property management software (if applicable).

Benefits & Pay 

Compensation for the Leasing Officer position is a base pay of $38,000/annually with an addition of benefits.
