Position Overview
The Assistant Property Manager plays a key role in supporting daily property operations, with a strong focus on resident relations and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, organized, and people-focused, and who wants to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Relations & Customer Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for residents via phone, email, and property management software
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions, requests, and concerns
- Coordinate maintenance requests with vendors and follow up to ensure resolution and satisfaction
- Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs, including communication and documentation
- Enforce community rules and HOA policies in a respectful, service-oriented manner
- Help resolve resident issues while maintaining positive relationships
Property Operations Support
- Assist Property Managers with daily operational tasks
- Maintain accurate resident records, leases, and documentation
- Support rent collection efforts and follow up on outstanding balances as needed
- Assist with lease renewals, notices, and general administrative duties
- Coordinate vendor access, inspections, and property-related appointments
Communication & Organization
- Maintain clear and professional communication with residents, owners, vendors, and internal team members
- Track tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines to ensure efficient operations
- Document interactions and updates accurately in management systems
Growth & Development
- Learn all aspects of residential property management with opportunities to advance into a Property Manager role
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to process improvements
- Take initiative to enhance the resident experience and internal workflows
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication style
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Ambitious, motivated, and interested in building a long-term career
- Comfortable handling sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
- Property management or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
- Hourly pay of $22–$25, depending on experience
- Medical and dental insurance available after 90 days

- Consistent schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break
