Real Property Management Today is looking for an Administrative Assistant who is eager to learn, take on new challenges, and grow within the property management industry.
About the Role
This is not your typical desk job. This role blends customer service, admin support, and creative work. You’ll be an important part of our team, helping support daily operations while creating a great experience for our residents and property owners. You will report directly to the COO and work closely with multiple departments across the organization.
Our office includes dedicated departments for marketing, sales, leasing, property management, accounting, and maintenance. This position gives you exposure to all areas of the business, allowing you to learn, grow, and find the path that fits you best.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys being on the phone and connecting with people
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Likes variety and can handle multiple tasks in a day
- Is comfortable working on a computer and learning new systems
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
- Is interested in growing within real estate/property management
No experience required — we will train the right person.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
What You’ll Do
- Provide backup support for office phones and front desk coverage
- Call clients and residents for customer satisfaction check-ins
- Assist with social media and blog writing
- Help onboard new properties into our system
- Send welcome cards and anniversary packages to property owners
- Manage the office birthday calendar and team celebrations
- Assist with property showings when the leasing team needs support
- Represent the company at events and community functions (occasionally outside of normal business hours)
- Assist with secondary review requests and deposit-related processes
- Assist with maintenance work order billing and administrative follow-up
- Monitor and respond to office chat communications to support team coordination
- Send review requests and follow up with clients to support company growth and online presence
- Support the team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Hours may expand over time based on business needs and performance
Work Environment
- Primarily in-office in Puyallup
- Some field work required
- Company vehicle provided for work-related travel
- Company gear and laptop provided
Pay & Benefits
- Starting at $20/hour, with room for growth based on performance
- Real estate license reimbursement as you grow with the company
- Health and dental insurance options after 90 days
- Simple IRA with company match up to 3% after 1 year
- Paid holidays
- PTO accrued at 10 days per year (based on a 40-hour work week, prorated for part-time hours)
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
